About the role

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of the finance function while partnering with Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, IT and the broader business. You will have responsibility across financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, commercial analysis, manufacturing finance, cash flow and financial control, while progressively gaining exposure to Board reporting, treasury, strategic investment decisions and acquisition activity.

A major part of the role will be our technology transformation. You will be a key finance stakeholder in the ERP upgrade, helping define future-state finance processes, controls, data and reporting requirements and contributing through design, data migration, testing/UAT, cutover and user adoption.

This is not a pure systems role: we are looking for a strong finance professional who can connect technology, process and commercial outcomes.

The role has been designed with development and progression in mind. We are looking for someone with strong finance foundations who is ready to broaden their experience, take on increasing responsibility and build the capability required to become a future Financial Controller and, over time, a senior finance leader. You will also act as the senior finance representative during periods of CFO absence.

Key responsibilities





- Manage the monthly close process and delivery of accurate and timely management reporting.
- Review Profit & Loss, balance sheet and cash flow performance and provide clear insights into the drivers of business performance.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with business leaders.
- Partner with Operations, Sales and Supply Chain to improve commercial and operational performance.
- Analyse product, customer and channel profitability and identify opportunities to improve margins and returns.
- Support product costing, manufacturing variance analysis, inventory management, working capital and capital expenditure decisions.
- Play a key finance role in the ERP upgrade, working with the CFO, IT, implementation partners and business

stakeholders.
- Help define future-state finance processes, controls, data structures and reporting requirements and contribute to data migration, testing/UAT, cutover and post-go-live stabilisation.
- Identify opportunities to automate and simplify finance processes and improve data quality, reporting and analytics.
- Support change management, training and adoption of new systems and processes.
- Support the CFO with Board reporting, banking, treasury, strategic analysis and investment decisions.
- Provide leadership and support to the broader finance team and take increasing responsibility for the financefunction as your capability develops.

About you You may already be a Finance Manager, or you may be a high-performing Senior Financial Accountant, Senior Management Accountant or Assistant Financial Controller looking for an opportunity to accelerate your development. We are interested in strong technical foundations, curiosity, commercial thinking, leadership potential and the ability to operate confidently through change.

- CA/CPA qualification




- 5+ years of relevant finance experience across financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and commercial analysis
- Demonstrated experience contributing to an ERP implementation, upgrade or significant finance systems transformation will be highly regarded.
- Strong financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting capability.
- Strong financial modelling, Excel and analytical skills.
- An ability to understand end-to-end finance processes and translate business requirements into practical system, control and reporting solutions.
- Confidence working across Finance, IT and external implementation partners.
- An ability to translate financial information into practical commercial recommendations and influence non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong ownership, learning agility and a genuine desire to progress into senior finance leadership.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or another inventory-intensive environment will be highly regarded.
