Sono Japanese Restaurant – Brisbane’s premier modern Japanese restaurant located on the beautiful Brisbane River .

We are currently looking for new parttime members to join us.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Passion and enthusiasm for hospitality and customer service
- A experience in a busy restaurant
- A valid QLD RSA
- Versatile availability, including Friday and Saturday nights
- Knowledge of drinks
- Good communication skill with both team member and customer

The team at Sono work hard to ensure a warm and comfortable atmosphere for both our staff and patrons. Training and regular hours will be provided to a candidate that shows they are able to work hard when required, as well as display an eye for quality and detail in their daily work ethic.



Familiarity with Japanese culture would also be of value, however is not necessary. Work hours will mainly consist of lunch and dinner shifts, Tuesday to Sunday. Whilst we do not guarantee hours, a hard working and friendly staff member can initially expect to receive approx. 20 hours per week. This position is paid under the Restaurant Industry Award 2020 [MA000119]

Pay: $26.44 – $41.11 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
