About the role

We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor/All Rounder to join our team in St Helens, TAS 7216. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst maintaining operational excellence. As a Food & Beverage Supervisor/All Rounder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining service standards and supporting both our customers and team members.

This position is integral to delivering the high-quality hospitality experience that defines our business.

Key responsibilities

- Supervising bar and beverage operations, ensuring all drinks are prepared to the highest standards and served promptly
- Overseeing customer service delivery and resolving any issues or complaints with professionalism and discretion
- Training, mentoring and supporting hospitality staff members to ensure they meet performance and behavioural expectations
- Maintaining compliance with health, safety and licensing regulations, including responsible service of alcohol
- Managing stock levels, ordering supplies and monitoring inventory to minimise waste and control costs
- Performing hands-on duties including bar service and table service as required
- Opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, till reconciliation and securing the premises
- Collaborating with management to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and workplace safety
- Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting cross-functional collaboration




- Prepared to be cross trained in all areas of the hotel and perform some night manager duties as required

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working in a supervisory or senior staff role within a bar, restaurant or hospitality venue
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including stock control and service standards
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification or willingness to obtain it
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Demonstrated ability to train, motivate and lead hospitality staff effectively
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Cash handling experience and proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items, and work in a dynamic hospitality environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, can-do attitude
