We are currently seeking for a Banquet Supervisor to join our Food and Beverage team.

Reporting to the C&E; Operations Manager, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operation of banquet functions and events
- Ensure function rooms are set up correctly according to the function sheet, including tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware and equipment
- Conduct pre-function checks to ensure the room, tables, service areas and amenities are ready before guests arrive
- Oversee food and beverage service throughout the function, ensuring timing and presentation meet hotel standards
- Coordinate the smooth running of meals, refreshments, breaks, speeches and other event requirements
- Monitor the progress of functions and make adjustments where required to maintain smooth service
- Ensure all banquet areas are cleaned, organised and returned to the required standard after each function
- Provide friendly, professional and attentive service to guests throughout the event
- Work closely with the Kitchen,



Events/Conference & Catering, Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to ensure functions run smoothly

To be considered for this role you need to:

- Previous experience in Food & Beverage, banquet or function service, preferably within a hotel environment
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience is desirable
- Good understanding of banquet service and function operations
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to coordinate several tasks and priorities during busy events
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Professional presentation and a robust customer service focus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Current RSA where required
- Food safety knowledge and training is desirable
- Australian National Police Clearance, no more than 3 months old
