Our client is a well-established food manufacturing business based in Prestons, specialising in the production of a variety of health and wellness confectionery and snack products, including protein bars and other food products.

We are currently seeking Food Manufacturing Kitchen Operators to join their production team on an ongoing basis.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a quick-paced food manufacturing environment. You will be involved in the preparation, production and processing of raw materials and finished food products.

Monday to Friday – Day Shift

5:30am to 1:30pm

Flexibility with start and finish times is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing, dispensing, weighing and mixing raw materials according to production requirements
- Operating food manufacturing machinery and production equipment
- Handling ingredients and materials, including manual lifting and movement of stock
- Monitoring production processes to ensure products meet quality and production standards
- Packaging finished products from a fast-paced production line
- Palletising and labelling finished products
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen and production area
- Following GMP, food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards




- Working closely with the production team to maintain an efficient and continuous production process

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, commercial kitchens, production or similar environments
- Previous GMP experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing will be highly regarded
- Experience with weighing, mixing or preparing ingredients is advantageous
- Ability to operate machinery and follow production procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transport and the ability to consistently attend early morning shifts
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality
