About the role

You'll be working across evening services at Baah Lah Dining, a neighbourhood restaurant in Geelong West serving Southeast Asian-inspired food in a relaxed, casual and energetic dining environment, helping to create a warm, relaxed and professional experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

- Welcoming and seating guests
- Taking food and beverage orders
- Providing friendly and attentive table service
- Explaining menu items and assisting guests with selections
- Serving food, wine, beer and other beverages
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Processing payments and using the POS system
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
- Maintaining a clean and organised dining area
- Working closely with the kitchen and other front-of-house team members

About you

- Friendly, confident and comfortable speaking with guests
- Reliable, punctual and well presented




- Able to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment
- A solid team player with a positive attitude
- Comfortable taking initiative during service
- Passionate about food, hospitality and providing great customer service
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality service is preferred
- Familiar with food and beverage service; wine and basic bar knowledge is an advantage
- Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Appropriate Australian working rights for the position
