About the role

This is a front counter supervisory position in a food service workplace. You will run the front counter during shifts, allocate tasks, and keep queues moving. You will be responsible for opening and closing the store, including floats, till reconciliation, security, and checklists.

You will train and direct service attendants on service standards, POS, and food safety. You will manage Uber Eats and delivery orders, resolve missed, delayed, or incorrect orders, handle customer questions and complaints, and escalate to the owner where needed. You will monitor front of house stock levels and flag shortages, serve customers, take orders, and process payments.

You will assemble and pack orders, prepare drinks and sides, and undertake cleaning, restocking, and basic food prep as required.

About you

- Available weekends and evenings
- Calm and clear-headed during a rush
- Confident giving direction to other staff
- Reliable and punctual, sets the standard for the team
- Experience in food service, supervisory or 2IC experience preferred
- Food Safety Handler certificate or willingness to complete one
- Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 15kg
- Full working rights in Australia
