We're looking for a Functional Automation Tester to join an in-house digital transformation portal program, reshaping how a national regulatory body delivers services to the public. This is a hands-on quality role at the centre of a fast-moving, high-visibility program, working within the Testing Practice to make sure what ships is fast, reliable, and right.

You'll test Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications — Power Pages, Power Apps, and Dataverse-based solutions — and the business processes they power. You'll design test scenarios, run manual and automated testing across multiple concurrent projects, and build automation that actually lives inside our CI/CD pipelines, not just on demand. Key Responsibilities

- Analyse requirements, design test scenarios and execute manual and automated tests across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications and their business processes.
- Deliver UI, functional, integration, system, regression and user acceptance testing across web-based and enterprise applications.
- Design, build and maintain automated UI regression suites for Dynamics 365/Power Platform using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or similar frameworks.
- Automate API and integration testing — backend services, API Management-fronted APIs,



Dataverse plugins/custom APIs and authentication flows — using Postman/Newman, REST Assured or Playwright's API tooling.
- Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines so tests run automatically with every build and release.
- Manage defects, maintain test documentation, and support end-to-end business process validation.
- Work confidently in VS Code and Azure DevOps, using source control, defect management and test reporting practices day to day.
- Move fluidly between projects, technologies, testing phases and business domains as priorities shift.

About You

You bring hands-on testing experience across Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform, strong instincts for both UI and API automation, and real experience wiring tests into CI/CD rather than running them by hand. You understand SDLC and Agile delivery, work well in multidisciplinary teams, and get productive fast with minimal ramp-up.

Ideally, you will also bring:

- ISTQB Automation Certification or equivalent.
- Deeper Dynamics 365 / Dataverse / Power Platform / Power BI experience — plugin logic, workplace variables and secrets, API Management policy validation.
- Experience with Jira alongside Azure DevOps for test and defect management.
