Successful candidates for these roles will be employed by GM3 and are expected to be based at Tahmoor Mine following completion of the proposed acquisition.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Ventilation and Gas Drainage Superintendent, the Gas Drilling Coordinator will provide leadership and coordination across gas drilling operations, supporting the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of the mine plan. The role is focused on translating monthly forecasts and weekly and 24-hour plans into practical drilling activities, coordinating crews, equipment, consumables and maintenance, resolving operational constraints and ensuring resources are effectively utilised across the 24-hour operation.

This role is based at Tahmoor Mine, located in the Southern Highlands of NSW, approximately 80 kilometres south-west of Sydney and within easy commuting distance of Wollongong, the Macarthur region and surrounding communities.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

- Develop and maintain the drilling forecasts and plans to facilitate delivery of production requirements
- Coordinate drill crews, contractors, work priorities and resources across shifts to support secure and efficient delivery of the drilling plan.
- Monitor area performance,



develop/implement corrective actions and report on outcomes.
- Work closely with operations, maintenance, technical and support teams to coordinate drilling requirements and resolve constraints.
- Adopt a risk management approach, drive safety improvement and provide leadership and support to drilling crews through safety and training coaching.
- Develop and implement audit systems to ensure delivery of customer-focused quality
- Ensure work is completed safely, cost effectively and in line with operational procedures and expectations, whilst managing performance and driving continuous improvement in drilling operations.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs whilst maintaining asset records and documentation.
- Maintain inventory records and coordinate consumables, equipment and stock and cost controls to prevent delays and support budget outcomes.

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced underground coal mining professional with strong knowledge of gas drainage drilling and demonstrated capability in operational planning, coordination and crew leadership. You communicate clearly, work collaboratively and balance safety, compliance, production and cost priorities.

What you’ll bring:

- Relevant mining, engineering, trade or supervisory qualifications, together with practical underground coal mining experience; Australian industry experience will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating gas drainage drilling crews and contractors in a complex underground operating workplace.
- Practical experience developing and executing monthly, weekly and daily plans, scheduling work and coordinating people, equipment and consumables.
- Sound knowledge of underground gas drainage drilling, safe work procedures, risk management, incident investigation and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proactive and commercially aware approach to crew development, equipment reliability, performance reporting and continuous improvement.
