We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities team. This is a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and values being part of a supportive team. You will play a key role in ensuring our school facilities are safe and attractive, with a wide variety of tasks to keep your workday interesting.

Salary: $65,488 per annum super and leave loading | Working Hours: Mon-Fri 7.00am - 3.00pm

Duties and Requirements

Grounds and gardening duties, for the purpose of ensuring safe and attractive grounds, including:

- Lawn mowing of 30 acres using commercial lawn mowing equipment
- Brush cutting, edging, weeding and other grass / grounds maintenance
- Trimming of trees, shrubs and hedges using equipment such as chainsaw, pole pruner etc.
- Landscaping duties including spreading rock, mulch etc.
- Experience with zero turn lawn mowers is preferable

General maintenance and labouring tasks including:





- Tasks involving moving furniture, setup and breakdown of events
- Rubbish collection and waste management
- Minor repairs and maintenance of grounds and facilities
- Maintenance of job related tools and equipment

Skills and Experience
- Current driver's licence
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a busy environment
- An understanding of and commitment to the Anglican Christian ethos of the School
