General Assistant / Labourer

Flowcrete is an established manufacturer and supplier of concrete boom, line and trailer pumps to the concrete pumping industry across Australasia, with five branches throughout Australia and New Zealand.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Assistant / Labourer to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is practical, takes pride in their work and isn't afraid to get stuck in and help wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with general labouring duties throughout the factory, workshop and yard.
- Help organise and move materials, tools and equipment as required.
- Load, unload and handle materials safely.
- Assist workshop staff with general tasks and day-to-day operations.
- Help keep the factory, workshop and business yards clean, tidy and organised.
- Assist with cleaning, preparation and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and agreed standards.
- Assist tradespeople and workshop staff as required.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as directed by the Leading Hand and/or Workshop Manager.

We're looking for someone who:





- Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic.
- Is physically fit and comfortable with hands-on labouring work.
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn.
- Can see what needs to be done and take the initiative to get it done.
- Works well as part of a team and can also work independently.
- Takes pride in keeping work areas clean, safe and organised.
- Has good communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
- Previous labouring, construction, workshop or mechanical experience is advantageous but not essential.

Overtime is available when required.
