What is the role?

RME is seeking a Global Product Manager to lead the strategy, growth and commercial performance of key product portfolios.

This is a highly visible role responsible for shaping the future direction of key products through customer discovery, market insight, product strategy, supporting product development and ultimately delivering successful product launches. Working closely with teams across Engineering, Sales, Service and Operations, you will identify growth opportunities, drive product initiatives and ensure RME continues to deliver market-leading solutions to customers globally.

The role offers the opportunity to influence significant growth initiatives, including automation projects, product range consolidation and new product development programs. The role will set the vision and roadmap for specific products, and will oversee the delivery of these initiatives, guiding them through RME’s product and service development process from analysis through development and ultimately market launch.

Domestic and international travel will form part of the role,



especially to support customer discovery and sales enablement. Depending on the successful candidate's location, the position may be based at RME's Head Office in Toowoomba or within one of RME's established regional offices.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, Technology Management or a related field.
- Robust commercial and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience developing business cases, growth strategies or product initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High levels of initiative, accountability and self-motivation.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

The ideal candidate may also possess:
- Exposure to the mill relining process, equipment, mill liners, and mill maintenance
- Experience in Product Management, Commercial Management, Business Development or a similar strategic role.
- Experience within mining, manufacturing, industrial equipment or related industries.
- Exposure to automation,



technology or new product development initiatives.
- Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA or equivalent.
- Current passport and the ability to undertake domestic and international travel
