What is the role?

RME is seeking a Global Product Manager - Service Innovation to identify, develop and commercialise innovative service solutions that create value for customers and support the growth of RME's global aftermarket business.

The role offers the opportunity to influence significant business initiatives and help shape the future of RME's services business. These initiatives support RME's transition to be a lifecycle services partner of choice. The role will set the product strategy, vision and roadmap for these service initiatives and oversee their delivery, guiding them through RME's product and service development process from opportunity assessment, capability building and through to market launch.

The role will also be responsible for in-life, ongoing product management of the assigned service portfolio elements.

Working closely with customers and stakeholders across Sales, Service, Operations, Engineering and Finance, you will uncover customer needs, build business cases, set service requirements, and drive initiatives from concept through to implementation. Success in this role will rely on your ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders and communicate effectively with everyone from mine site personnel to senior executives.

Domestic and international travel will form part of the role, especially to support customer discovery and sales enablement. Depending on the successful candidate's location,



the position may be based at RME's Head Office in Toowoomba or within one of RME's established regional offices.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, Technology Management or a related discipline.
- Experience in one or more of the following roles: Product Management, Commercial Management, Business Development, Service Operations or a similar strategic role.
- Experience setting product/service strategy, developing a roadmap and launching a current/improved product offering
- Solid commercial acumen, including experience developing business cases, pricing strategies and growth initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence outcomes across all levels of an organisation.
- High levels of emotional intelligence, including the ability to listen, build trust, read situations and adapt communication styles.
- Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs through market engagement, discovery activities and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including ability to analyse operational, commercial and customer data to identify trends, quantify opportunities and support decisions
- High levels of initiative, accountability and self-motivation.
- A current passport and the ability to undertake domestic and international travel.

The ideal candidate may also possess:




- Experience developing or managing recurring revenue, service contract, subscription or outcome-based commercial models.
- Experience within mining, mineral processing, heavy industry, industrial services or capital equipment sectors.
- Experience with technical services, managed services, service agreements or recurring revenue models.
- Experience working within South American markets.
- Spanish language proficiency.
- Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA or equivalent.
- Exposure to the mill relining process, relining equipment, mill liners, and mill maintenance
