Established in 2014, Magnolia Lane’s experienced team provides tailored commercial finance solutions to clients across Australia.

An exciting opportunity is now available for a motivated graduate, or final-year university student, to join the Orange office as a Graduate Finance Broker.

The opportunity

Working closely with our team, you will receive practical training across the complete finance application process. You will develop valuable skills in financial analysis, client relationship management and commercial finance while liaising with clients, lenders and brokers.

The role is ideally full-time. However, flexibility may be available for an exceptional candidate completing their final year of university, with the opportunity to transition to full-time employment.

Your responsibilities will include

- Supporting finance applications from initial enquiry through to settlement

- Reviewing and analysing financial information, with training provided

- Liaising with clients, lenders, brokers and business contacts

- Proactively progressing applications and approval processes

- Maintaining accurate client files, CRM records and documentation

- Assisting with client visits and finance documentation

- Supporting Partners, senior brokers and the operations team

- Completing pre-settlement and post-settlement follow-ups





- Assisting with company events and occasional national travel

As your experience develops, there will be an opportunity to build your own client portfolio and potentially develop a team around you.

About you

You will have recently completed, or be close to completing, a degree in business, commerce, finance, accounting or another relevant discipline.

You will also bring

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A professional and confident approach

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- An interest in finance, business and client relationships

- Initiative, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

- Competent computer and data-entry skills
- A current Australian driver’s licence

Previous experience in a professional, financial or client-service workplace would be beneficial but is not essential.
