We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Gardener / Grounds Person to join the team at BIG4 Caloundra and help keep our waterfront holiday park looking its best.

This is a hands-on outdoor role covering everything from mowing and pruning to garden maintenance and general presentation of the park.

The Role

Your day-to-day will include:

- Mowing, edging and whipper snipping
- Pruning trees, shrubs and hedges
- Weeding and maintaining garden beds
- Planting, mulching and general garden care
- Leaf blowing and keeping outdoor areas tidy
- Maintaining lawns and landscaped areas
- Green waste removal
- General grounds and outdoor presentation




- Identifying areas that need attention and taking initiative to get them sorted
- Assisting with other general grounds duties as required

About You You’re the kind of person who sees something that needs fixing and gets it sorted.

You’ll ideally have

- Previous gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance experience
- Confidence using mowers, whipper snippers, blowers and other garden equipment
- Knowledge of basic plant and lawn care
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors
- A solid work ethic and ability to work independently
- Great attention to detail and pride in presentation
- A friendly attitude when interacting with guests and the wider team
- A current driver’s licence

Formal horticultural qualifications are great, but they’re not essential. We’re more interested in finding someone reliable who knows their way around a garden and takes genuine pride in making outdoor spaces look great. Why Join Us?
