Who is Develop?
Develop (ASX: DVP) is a diversified mining company with a unique business model that combines both mine ownership and mining services, giving our people the opportunity to contribute across a range of exciting projects and operations.
A key part of Develops business is the development and production of future facing metals. Develop has successfully achieved commercial production at its Woodlawn Copper-Zinc Project in NSW, achieving and exceeding steady-state throughput rates, while rapidly advancing the Yitirrti (Sulphur Springs) Zinc-Copper Project in WA. In parallel, the Company is progressing its Pioneer Dome Lithium Project in WA towards production.
The second part of Develop's business focuses on the delivery of underground mining services. Develop currently has agreements in place to provide underground mining services to:
- OceanaGold's (TSX: OGC) Waihi North Gold Project; and
- Core Lithium's (ASX: CXO) Finniss Lithium Operation.

Develop are seeking experienced Auto Electricians and Heavy Diesel Fitters on a 7:7 roster family friendly roster at our Woodlawn Copper-Zinc mining operation, 250km south-west of Sydney.
Woodlawn is an advanced stage mine with the first two years of underground production already developed and a near new processing plant and related infrastructure in place. Additional investment in the asset over the last two years has yielded a new underground exclusive mine plan,
backed by reserves for the next ten years.
Responsibilities include:
- Work within the Mobile Maintenance Team to ensure all activities (breakdowns, follow-up work, PMs, planned work etc) are performed in a safe, timely, professional and effective manner.
- Conduct pre-start inspections on all equipment and ensure it is safe for operation
- Plan tasks effectively and prepare work areas for efficient execution
- Identify hazards and implement appropriate controls to eliminate or minimise risk
- Maintain accurate records in CMMS (Pronto), including job history, labour hours and feedback to Supervisors
- Identify correct parts and equipment for all planned and unplanned jobs as necessary.
- Organise all permits as required (e.g. isolations, confined space, hot work).
- Continuously review scheduled jobs to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Highlight equipment defects and issues effectively utilising the maintenance management process.
- Rigorous cost management - avoid rework and the unnecessary use of parts and services.
- Provide input into the annual performance reviews for the Mechanical Apprentices where applicable.
- Maintain a clean and organised work setting
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site
About You
- Relevant Australian recognised Heavy Duty Trade Cert / Cert III Automotive Electrical
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Minimum 2 year's experience in the mining or heavy industry sector (highly desirable)
- Experience maintaining and repairing heavy mobile equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
- Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and inspection procedures
- Computer literacy (CMMS, Microsoft Office etc.)
- Strong communication skills and team-focused mindset
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and procedures
Desirable:
- Sandvik Automine experience
- Cert II in Automotive Air Conditioning (Auto Electrical)
- First Aid Certificate
