HME PLANNER | 8:6 ROSTER | 11.5-HOUR DAYS

2 x HME Planners required | FIFO | 8:6 Roster

We are currently seeking 2 experienced HME Planners to join our client’s maintenance team on an 8:6 roster, working 11.5-hour days.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance planner with a strong technical or trade background to play a key role in delivering safe, efficient and well-coordinated HME maintenance activities.

THE ROLE

As an HME Planner, you will be responsible for assembling HME shutdowns and weekly maintenance schedules using SAP and Microsoft Project, while working closely with Maintenance, Execution, Parts Planning and Mine Planning teams.

You will play a key role in ensuring maintenance activities are properly planned, resourced and aligned with operational requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assemble HME maintenance plans and schedules using SAP and Microsoft Project
- Develop and maintain accurate weekly, monthly and 16-week maintenance plans
- Coordinate with Execution teams to ensure safe and effective workflow
- Ensure task lists, BOMs and PM01 operations have the required parts ordered
- Liaise with Parts Planners to ensure parts are available for planned shutdowns
- Manage backlogs and forward logs to optimise defect and component change-outs
- Coordinate with Mine Planning to ensure equipment outages align with operational requirements
- Manage the opening and closing of work orders
- Manage notifications and generate backlog orders for inclusion in maintenance plans
- Order parts daily and manage parts requirements for PM schedules




- Assist with maintaining the preventative maintenance module to ensure it remains accurate and up to date
- Assist with warranty claims
- Prepare information for KPI, budget and cost reporting
- Contribute to plant availability and cost control through effective maintenance planning
- Support continuous improvement across maintenance processes, equipment and safe work practices
- Work collaboratively with Maintenance, Supply, Operations and Management teams
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Superintendent or Manager

ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A relevant trade or technical background
- Minimum 5 years' relevant hands-on trade or technical experience
- Previous exposure to maintenance planning techniques
- Experience working with computerised maintenance management systems
- Intermediate SAP experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Project experience
- A strong understanding of contemporary maintenance philosophies
- Understanding of business budgets, cost control, reporting and job estimation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical and logical problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work effectively across multiple teams and competing priorities
- A professional approach and commitment to safe work practices
