Warrikal is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management across plant and equipment, labour hire, consumables and site services.

This newly created role reports directly to the Executive Member, Head of Commercial, Assets, Procurement and Logistics. You’ll have the autonomy to shape how procurement is delivered across the business, from sourcing and contract negotiation to supplier performance and continuous improvement.

You’ll lead a small team, work closely with senior stakeholders and help strengthen procurement practices as Warrikal continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead strategic sourcing — prequalification, tendering, evaluation, negotiation and contract management
- Manage supplier performance and commercial agreements, balancing value, risk and delivery
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers across the business




- Identify and implement procurement improvements and process efficiencies
- Support procurement governance, mentoring and development of a small team
- Travel approximately monthly to support regional sites, including Hope Valley, Port Hedland and Newman

About You

- 7 to 10+ years' procurement experience, including senior-level strategic sourcing and supplier management
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Experience with SAP and IFS highly regarded
- Background in resources, mining, construction or maintenance highly regarded
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Law, Supply Chain or equivalent experience
- Confident operating autonomously with strong stakeholder engagement skills
