About the Role

We are looking for a Bricklayer to be responsible for carrying out bricklaying and masonry work across residential and commercial construction projects. You will work closely with our construction team to ensure work is completed safely, accurately and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Lay bricks, blocks and other masonry materials according to plans and specifications
- Read and interpret building plans, drawings and specifications
- Measure, mark and set out work areas accurately
- Prepare and mix mortar and other materials
- Construct and repair walls, partitions and other masonry structures
- Cut and shape bricks and masonry materials as required
- Ensure brickwork is level, aligned and finished to a high standard
- Carry out restoration, repair and maintenance of existing masonry where required
- Work with other trades and construction team members to coordinate site activities
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area




- Follow workplace health and safety requirements and construction site procedures
- Use and maintain bricklaying tools, equipment and materials appropriately

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Proven experience as a Bricklayer in residential and/or commercial construction
- Strong practical bricklaying and masonry skills
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of construction site safety requirements
- Reliable, hardworking and professional attitude
- Relevant trade qualification or relevant experience will be highly regarded
- Relevant licences are desirable.
- Bilingual communication skills, particularly in English and Mandarin, will be highly regarded
