About the Chance

Mills Recruitment is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company supplying building products across Western Australia.

Due to current requirements, we are seeking experienced HR and HC Drivers with HIAB / Vehicle Crane experience to join their transport team.

We have opportunities suitable for experienced HR Drivers completing Perth metro deliveries, as well as HC Drivers with semi-trailer experience completing both metro and regional WA deliveries.

The Roles

HR Driver – HIAB 75k Salary after 3 Months The HR position will primarily involve delivering building products to construction and building sites throughout the Perth metro area.

You will be responsible for:

- Operating HR trucks up to 15 tonnes
- Delivering building products throughout Perth
- Operating a HIAB / Vehicle Crane to load and unload materials
- Completing deliveries safely and on time
- Communicating with dispatch, customers and site personnel
- Maintaining high safety standards at all times

HC Driver – HIAB & Semi-Trailer 85k Salary after 3 Months The HC position will involve operating HC trucks and semi-trailers to deliver building materials, including steel frames, throughout Perth and regional WA. You will be responsible for:

- Operating HC trucks and semi-trailers




- Using a HIAB / Vehicle Crane to load and unload materials
- Delivering to construction and building sites
- Completing regular regional deliveries, including Karratha and the Pilbara
- Undertaking overnight stays when required
- Hooking up trailers, including fifth wheel, airlines and electrics
- Reversing and manoeuvring articulated vehicles in tight site environments
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and site teams

What We're Looking For Depending on the position, you will ideally have:

- Valid HR or HC Driver’s Licence
- HIAB / Vehicle Crane (CV) Ticket – essential
- Previous experience delivering to construction or building sites
- Strong safety awareness and a reliable work history
- Confidence loading and unloading materials on site
- Good communication skills
- Forklift ticket highly regarded
- For HC applicants – proven semi-trailer/articulated truck experience
- For HC applicants – willingness to undertake regional WA deliveries and overnight stays

Hours

- Monday to Friday
- 5:30am – 1:30pm
- Additional hours and overtime available as required

Pay & Benefits

- HR Driver – $40.00 per hour + applicable penalties
- HC Driver – approximately $48.00+ per hour + applicable penalties
- Temp-to-perm opportunity after approximately 3 months
- Consistent Monday-to-Friday work
- Long-term opportunity with an established WA manufacturing business
