HSEQ Advisors x 2 - Major Highway & Bridge Project

Major Infrastructure Project | Safety & Environmental | Up to $150k + 20% + Vehicle + Super

We are seeking 2 experienced HSEQ professionals to join a major infrastructure project involving the construction of a bridge over an operational rail corridor, together with associated highway, road and civil works.

This is an opportunity to join an established infrastructure contractor delivering a significant project in WA, with a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance and quality across the project.

About the Role

Working as part of the project team, you will be responsible for supporting and driving HSEQ performance across the construction project, with a particular focus on safety and environmental compliance.

The project will have significant interfaces with a major iron ore operator, who will be providing FIFO flights and accommodation.

Key responsibilities will include

- Providing day-to-day HSEQ support across the project
- Driving safety performance and compliance across construction activities
- Conducting site inspections, audits, risk assessments and investigations
- Supporting project teams with SWMS, JHAs and other safety documentation
- Monitoring environmental compliance and project controls
- Managing environmental risks associated with road, civil and construction activities
- Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions
- Providing HSEQ advice to project management, supervisors and subcontractors
- Ensuring compliance with project, legislative and MRWA requirements




- Liaising with clients, project stakeholders and external authorities as required

About You To be considered, you will have:
- Minimum 5 years' safety experience to meet the requirements associated with the MRWA project
- Strong experience working within construction, civil infrastructure or major projects
- Demonstrated capability across Safety and Environment
- Strong understanding of construction safety systems, risk management and compliance
- Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work effectively with site-based construction teams
- MRWA experience will be highly regarded
- Experience working on major road, highway or civil infrastructure projects will be advantageous
- Exposure to Rio Tinto systems, processes or project environments would be beneficial

We are looking for HSEQ professionals who can operate confidently in a demanding construction environment and have the practical site experience to work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents and Supervisors.

Potential rosters include

- 10 days on / 4 days off - preferred
- 2 weeks on / 1 week off - subject to flight availability
