About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team at IGA Officer. In this role, you will help with day-to-day store operations and provide friendly service to our customers.

This position is suitable for someone who is proactive, honest, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and willing to learn different areas of the store.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Refill shelves and ensure stock is well presented
- Check product quality, dates and freshness
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining store presentation
- Help with receiving stock and unpacking deliveries
- Follow store procedures, food safety and hygiene standards
- Support the team with general store duties as required
