We are currently seeking a full-time temporary staff member to join our IT Infrastructure team based at our offices in Sunshine.
The role
Reporting to the Infrastructure Team Leader, we are seeking a talented ICT Network and Security Engineer who can bring their expertise and leadership to:
- Implement, manager, and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking, and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services.
- Provide ICT security advice and response assistance to the organisation.
- Monitors organisational network performance and makes enhancements to ensure organisational SLAs are met.
- Proactively identifies and resolves network risks and vulnerabilities in accordance with agreed policies and procedures.
- Produces outline system designs and specifications,
and overall architectures, topologies, configuration databases and design documentation of networks and networking technology within the organisation.
To be considered you will have:
- At least 2-3 years' experience as a Network Engineer or suitable equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technology/ICT/Cyber Security discipline.
- Suitable Infrastructure/Network certifications
- Suitable Information Security certifications, such as CISA, CISSP, CCSP, CCFP, CISM
- ITIL Certification
- Local Government experience is desirable
