A house-hold brand in Australian Retail is looking to add an experienced Infrastructure Manager to their team. This enterprise organization has been going through successful growth and this is a newly created position within the company.

A combination of people management & technical leadership, the Infrastructure Manager will lead of team of 16 people, driving strategy, modernization & operations specifically in the traditional IT infrastructure stack. The IT Infrastructure workplace comprises of over 3,000 servers across numerous sites including 3 DCs.

What you will be doing:

- Provide technical and strategic direction for Infrastructure Services
- Take ownership of planning, designing & implementing Infrastructure, back up & recovery technologies
- Perform workload management, project planning, forecasting and resource allocation
- Align technical activities with organizational strategic objectives
- Define and enhance business processes




- Develop robust processes for ongoing optimization of Infrastructure
- Manage a team of technical engineers to ensure operational and strategic needs are met
- Manage and maintain Infrastructure budgets

What you will need to succeed:

- 5+ years experience in Infrastructure Management
- 10+ years experience in Infrastructure Engineering
- Proven people management skills
- Previous ownership of department budgets and forecasting
- Proficiency with virtualization - VMware, Hyper-V, SANs
- Strong experience / knowledge of Storage, Backup & Recovery technologies
- Experience managing DC technologies
- Excellent communication skills
