Development Victoria are looking for final year students who are studying property development, planning, construction, project management, engineering, architecture or a similar field to join our 2027 Intern Program. We are hiring interns to join us for rotations across our Precincts, Housing and Civic Infrastructure teams.
As an Intern you will gain exposure to a diverse range of projects across the full project lifecycle, whilst being provided with on-the-job training led by industry experts. The program will commence in February 2027 and run until December 2027 and offers you the opportunity to balance your university studies with practical part-time industry experience 3 days a week.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Be enrolled and undertaking your final year in 2027 in a bachelor’s degree or Postgraduate studies in a property development, planning, construction, project management, engineering, architecture or equivalent discipline.
- Possess intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and adobe pro or PDF based programs.
- Have experience in the delivery of high-quality customer service.
- Have experience working in an environment requiring liaison with, and coordination of, multiple stakeholders and conflicting demands.
- Can prepare written communication and documentation using clear, concise and grammatically correct language.
- Possess a basic knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, including residential codes and controls as they affect residential development, construction related matters.
- Possess the time management skills required to complete tertiary studies and a part-time internship.

- Assessment Centre – You will be invited to an assessment centre at our head office, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet hiring managers and others at Development Victoria and showcase your skills in a unique way. You must be available on Tuesday 27 th October 2026 for this.
