About the Role
As an Associate, you will assist with transaction execution and support, gaining exposure to all facets of corporate finance mandates, including Mergers & Acquisitions, Initial Public Offerings, Equity Capital Markets and Advisory. The role will include research, drafting marketing documents and presentations, financial modelling and valuations, oversight of due diligence and negotiating transaction documents. You will also develop analysts and assist senior team members in maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing marketing materials and client presentations
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modelling
- Conduct research, including industry analysis, identification of potential buyers and assessment of legal,
structuring and financial issues
- Manage the due diligence process including data rooms and Q&A;
- Reviewing and assisting in the preparation of transaction documents including sale and purchase agreements, merger implementation deeds, bidder/target statements, explanatory memorandums, prospectuses and investor presentations
- Liaise with clients and other advisors including lawyers, accountants, brokers and industry experts
What We’re Looking For
- An intellectually curious mindset with a strong interest in corporate finance and investment
- Proactive attitude with an ability to work and learn autonomously
- A strong academic background with a degree in finance, accounting and/or economics
- Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields, with a proven track record of involvement in successful execution of complex transactions
- Solid financial modelling, accounting and corporate finance skills with a detailed understanding of different valuation methodologies and principles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and other advisors independently and efficiently
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities simultaneously
- Experience using AI and a willingness to embed AI within daily workflows
- A keen interest in food, wine and agriculture
