This is an ideal opportunity for an emerging HR or People & Culture professional looking to broaden their experience across a diverse hospitality business. Working alongside an experienced leadership team and supported by a wider People & Culture function, you will have the opportunity to develop your career across all facets of the employee lifecycle.
The Role
As the People & Culture Executive, you will be the primary in office People & Culture representative, supporting leaders and team members across the business. This is a broad generalist role where no two days will be the same. From recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, performance management, engagement, learning and development and WHS, you will play an important role in creating a positive and engaged workplace. Reporting closely to the General Manager and supported by the Director of People & Culture, you will provide practical HR support while helping deliver people initiatives aligned with the broader business strategy. Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment, talent attraction, onboarding and induction processes.
- Support managers with employee relations, performance management, investigations and workplace matters.
- Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, wellbeing, learning and development initiatives.
- Maintain HR systems, employee records, reporting and compliance requirements.
- Support workforce planning, payroll administration, audits and the implementation of HRIS improvements.
- Assist with WHS,



injury management, return-to-work processes and incident investigations.
- Build strong relationships with leaders and team members across the business.
- Contribute to succession planning, talent development and broader People & Culture initiatives.

Your Skills and Experience

- 2–3 years' experience in Human Resources, People & Culture or a similar generalist role.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work requirements and the Hospitality Industry General Award.
- Experience across recruitment, employee relations, performance management and the broader employee lifecycle.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills, with the confidence to work with employees and leaders at all levels.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, professionalism and confidentiality.
- Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office, with hospitality, tourism or service industry experience highly regarded.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline will be advantageous.
- A proactive, people-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
