Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice and guidance on process safety across the LPG business
- Lead and support Safety Case development, submissions and regulatory engagement
- Facilitate risk assessments and technical studies, including HAZOP, LOPA and bowtie analysis
- Support the management and assurance of Safety Critical Controls
- Facilitate Management of Change and Operational Risk Assessments
- Work with site and engineering teams to identify risks and develop practical controls
- Lead and support incident investigations, including identifying trends and sharing learnings
- Participate in internal, external and regulatory audits and coordinate actions through to close-out
- Review and maintain Emergency Response and Business Continuity Plans
- Identify opportunities to strengthen systems, processes and reporting across the business
About You
- Tertiary Engineering qualification with Chartered Engineer status
- Strong background in process safety, risk management and safety management systems
- Experience working with Safety Cases, HAZOP, LOPA, bowtie analysis and SFARP/ALARP
- Sound understanding of Major Hazard Facility requirements and relevant legislation
- Strong analytical, technical writing and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with engineering, operations, HSE and regulatory stakeholders
- Practical and collaborative approach with a focus on delivering quality outcomes
