Monadelphous is seeking a motivated and technically capable Project Engineer - Civil & Structural with current RPEQ registration to support the delivery of a major gas turbine power station project in Queensland.
This is a project delivery role supporting a large-scale power generation project, encompassing civil and structural construction scopes and interfaces across engineering, procurement and construction.
The position will initially be based in the project office before transitioning to site on a 2:1 roster during the execution phase.
This role will suit an experienced engineer who can provide technical leadership across civil and structural scopes while ensuring engineering compliance, construction readiness and successful project outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Coordinate civil and structural engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
- Provide technical support to ensure engineering deliverables align with construction and project requirements.
- Manage interfaces across engineering, procurement, quality, commercial, project controls and construction teams.
- Support project planning, forecasting, scheduling and progress reporting for assigned work packages.
- Manage technical queries, design changes and engineering issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Liaise with consultants,



subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives to resolve technical and delivery matters.
- Monitor construction progress and provide engineering support to maintain safety, productivity and project milestones.
- Support construction readiness, commissioning activities and project close-out.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring:

- Current RPEQ registration (mandatory). Applications cannot be considered without this requirement.
- Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Proven experience delivering civil and/or structural scopes within power generation, energy, oil & gas, mining or heavy industrial projects.
- Demonstrated success in a Project Engineer, Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer or similar project delivery role.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering and construction delivery within major project environments.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, engineering governance and design compliance requirements.
- Ability to provide engineering assurance and make informed technical decisions in a construction environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, including exposure to project costs, procurement activities and contract variations.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and coordination skills across clients, contractors,



consultants and project teams.
- A demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and delivering projects to schedule.
