This is a senior leadership and delivery role for an accomplished commercial and disputes lawyer who enjoys solving complex problems, managing high-quality work and developing talented lawyers. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional legal services, managing matters and working closely with the firm's partners and broader legal team.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and oversee a broad range of commercial matters

- Provide strategic and commercially practical advice to established businesses and business owners
n
- Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements
n
- Supervise, mentor and support lawyers within the team
n
- Manage workflows and maintain consistently high standards of service
n
- Work closely with the firm's partners on complex and significant matters
n
- Help strengthen the team's technical capability, systems and processes
n
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with existing clients
n
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the firm

About you

- Highly experienced commercial lawyer with the technical ability, commercial judgment and leadership qualities expected at partner level
n
- Significant experience in commercial and corporate law
n
- Strong drafting, negotiation and advisory skills
n
- Experience managing complex matters with a high degree of autonomy
n
- The ability to supervise, mentor and develop other lawyers
n
- A practical and solutions-focused approach
n
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
n
- Excellent judgment, attention to detail and commercial awareness
n
- A cooperative leadership style and genuine commitment to team success
