About the Role Startek is currently seeking customer-focused individuals to join our Energy Distribution team as an Inbound Customer Service Consultant.
As the first point of contact for customers, retailers and business partners, you will provide accurate information and support regarding electricity network services. You will handle inbound enquiries, investigate customer requests, complete associated administration tasks, and ensure all interactions are managed efficiently, professionally, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Working in a supportive team setting, you will build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders while delivering exceptional service and helping to resolve enquiries with confidence and care.

- Roster: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts between 8:00am and 6:00pm
- Permanent Part-Time Position
- $27.97 per hour + superannuation + leave entitlements
- Guaranteed minimum 35 paid hours per week
- Four weeks of paid training in our Melbourne Docklands office

What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who are passionate about helping others and thrive in a fast-paced customer service environment.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, contact centres, administration or other service-based environments (highly regarded)
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence learning new systems and navigating multiple applications simultaneously
- Resilience and professionalism when handling complex or challenging enquiries
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
