About us ...

Royal Copenhagen opened its first Ice Cream shop on Manly Corso in 1984 and quickly expanded to multiple sites in Sydney, Queensland and South Australia. Our Café Dessert bars have been a huge hit in South Australia with 13 Dessert Bar currently in operations in South Australia. We are now expanding our Dessert Bar operations into NSW with the opening of Royal Copenhagen at Eastern Creek Quarter.

About the Role …

We are currently accepting applications for Junior Cafe All-Rounders who have bright, outgoing personalities and exceptional customer service skills to fill positions within our shop.

Key responsibilities include

- Delivering a high standard of service to members and guests
- Scooping ice cream
- Preparing hot and cold beverages, including various styles of coffees, milkshakes, cold-pressed juices, etc (Barista experience preferred)
- Preparing and cooking food, including waffles, cones, pancakes, doughnut, plating desserts, etc (basic cooking experience preferred)
- Providing table service and table clearing services to guests
- Handling all cash transactions in an effective manner,



ensuring the security of cash and the privacy of member details at all times
- Maintaining a clean and tidy environment
- Working with a team who have a strong Workplace, Health and Safety focus.

About you… As someone with previous experience in the hospitality industry, you will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will have a willingness to build long-term relationships with our members and will have impeccable grooming, presentation and communication skills.

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:

Essential skills and competencies

- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work as a team
- A keen eye for detail
- High level of grooming and personal presentation standards
- Reliability and the flexibility to work a variety of shifts (the shop is open from 9am every morning, through to 10pm on weeknights and Midnight on Fridays and weekends).
