Prestige Tiling and Design Pty Ltd is looking for a reliable and motivated Junior Tiler / Tiling Assistant to join our team on a casual basis.
This role would suit someone who already has practical wall and floor tiling experience and is looking to continue developing their skills while working across a variety of projects around Brisbane.
About the Role
You will assist with:
- Wall and floor tiling
- Surface and site preparation
- Measuring and marking areas for tile installation
- Cutting and positioning tiles
- Laying tiles under direction where required
- Grouting and finishing work
- Mixing and handling adhesives, grout and other tiling materials
- Loading and unloading tools, tiles and materials
- Cleaning tools and maintaining organised work areas
- Following site instructions and workplace health and safety requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Previous hands-on wall and floor tiling experience
- Experience with preparation, measuring, cutting, laying, grouting and finishing is highly regarded
- Confident using basic tiling tools and equipment
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Positive attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Willing to learn and continue developing tiling skills
- Current White Card
- Valid driver’s licence
- Own reliable vehicle – essential
- Able and willing to travel to different job sites around Brisbane
- Available Monday to Friday as required
- Valid Australian working rights
Employment Details
Employment Type: Casual
Location: Various project sites across Brisbane and surrounding areas
Work Schedule: Monday–Saturday as required
Pay: In accordance with the applicable Award, experience and role requirements
