We’re looking for casual Front of House superstars to join the team at alba Italian Kitchen, in the heart of Stories at Yagan Square.

Only want 5–16 hours a week? We got you! Perfect for uni students, anyone looking for a second job, or those who just want a couple of great shifts each week.

alba is all about the good stuff. Fresh pasta, Italian favourites, flowing wine and the kind of warm, relaxed hospitality that makes you want to stay for another glass. alba is fast-paced, fun and full of energy.

If you love looking after people, thrive in a busy restaurant and reckon great hospitality should feel effortless, we’d love to hear from you.

A bit about YOU:

- A genuine, friendly personality with plenty of energy and a positive attitude.
- A natural host who actually enjoys talking to people and making guests feel welcome.
- Ideally a minimum 1 year’s experience in a busy, fast-paced restaurant or hospitality venue.
- Food & beverage knowledge. A love of Italian food and wine definitely doesn’t hurt!
- Confident with table service and comfortable managing a busy section.
- A go-get-’em attitude and genuine willingness to learn.
- Great communication skills.
- Common sense. Bring plenty of it.
- Reliable, punctual and ready to get stuck in when service gets busy.
- Weekend and evening availability is essential. Hospitality happens when everyone else is off!
- Full Australian working rights. No visa sponsorship available.
