Raindale Holdings Pty Ltd t/as Global Testing Services is seeking a talented Chemist to join our oil laboratory based in Canning Vale. The purpose of this position is to deliver accurate and timely analysis of oil samples that supports the safe, reliable operation of electrical and mechanical assets. You will perform routine and advanced testing and analysis in accordance with industry standards, maintain equipment and data integrity, and uphold strict safety and compliance requirements.

Duties:

- Sample management and preparation
- Laboratory testing and analysis including routine and advanced testing
- TOGAS DGA, DGA,
- HPLC Furans, Di-Butyle Para Cresol
- ECD Polychlorinated Bi-Phenols, Di-Benzyl Di-Sulphide
- KF Coulometric Moisture
- Dielectric breakdown, dielectric dissipation
- Interfacial, total acidity, corrosive sulphur, resistivity




- Maintain and operate analytic instruments in good working order
- Ensure accuracy of results by following ISO/IEC 17025 Standards
- Ensure quality control and compliance – perform calibrations, log quality control checks
- Review and validate test results, generating accurate reports for clients
- Provide recommendations to clients on any abnormal findings
- Investigate and resolve technical issues or challenges
- Develop and improve existing theories, methods and processes
- Stay current with industry standards and legislation

Skills and Experience:

- Minimum Bachelor degree in a chemist related field
- Must be legally able to work in Australia
- Manual drivers license
- 5-10 years experience with 5+ years in a laboratory
- Minimum 2+ years in an oil laboratory
- Ability to be extremely adaptable and flexible
- Excellent communication skills
- Manual Handling (can be obtained after employment)
- Ability to adjust in a quick changing environment
- Microsoft Office 365

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
