Pearl Coast Pastoral runs cattle across some of the most remarkable country in Western Australia's Kimberley. We're now developing a centre pivot irrigation project growing hay, potentially one of the most remote irrigation developments in the country, and we're building the team that will run it from the ground up, this job is not for the faint hearted.

We're looking for a Leading Farm Hand to work alongside our Farm Manager: someone who can run pivots, keep gear turning, and take the lead when the manager is off-station.

What you'll be doing

- Operating, monitoring and maintaining centre pivot irrigators
- Running tractors, telehandlers, and implements across seeding, spraying, cutting and baling
- Routine servicing, breakdown repairs and general maintenance on plant, pumps and infrastructure
- Irrigation scheduling, water monitoring and record keeping




- Leading from the front and keeping the program on track when the Farm Manager is away

What we're after

- Hands-on centre pivot or broadacre irrigation experience
- Solid mechanical aptitude, you can diagnose a problem, pull out the toolbox and sort it without waiting on a service call
- HR licence and machinery tickets (or the experience and willingness to get them)
- Someone reliable, safety-minded and happy in a small team where everyone pitches in
- A genuine liking for the outdoors and remote station life
