We're looking for a Learning & Development Manager to lead our L&D; team and help build capability across the organisation. This is an opportunity to shape how learning is designed, delivered and embedded, ensuring our people have the skills, knowledge and support needed to succeed as the business evolves.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, you'll partner closely with business stakeholders to identify learning needs, develop practical solutions and drive measurable outcomes. You'll lead a small team, oversee key learning initiatives and play an important role in supporting operational performance, continuous improvement and employee development.

This role will suit someone who enjoys building capability, influencing outcomes and working to turn learning into real business results.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering Pioneer’s learning priorities and ensuring learning programs are aligned with requirements to support business outcomes.

Key responsibilities include

- Providing leadership and support to the Learning & Development team.
- Delivering Pioneer's learning plan and capability priorities.
- Partnering with leaders and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and build practical solutions.
- Overseeing Corporate and Operations induction, refresher training and ongoing capability development.
- Maintaining learning pathways and capability frameworks across Operations and Corporate teams.
- Supporting leadership capability through practical coaching and development initiatives.
- Governing learning standards, content ownership, training records, reporting and learning systems.




- Maintaining the Knowledge Hub and Learning Library to ensure information is current and accessible.
- Measuring learning effectiveness and using insights to drive improvement.
- Supporting learning related to business processes, compliance, systems and operational change.

About You

You are a practical and approachable leader who enjoys helping people succeed. You can work with a range of stakeholders, turning business requirements and operational knowledge into clear, engaging learning experiences.

You'll bring

- Experience leading people, coaching performance and driving accountability.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence priorities and work through differing views.
- Solid learning design and facilitation skills, supported by practical knowledge of adult learning principles.
- Experience developing learning pathways, frameworks or capability programs aligned to business needs.
- The ability to simplify business rules, operational processes and regulatory requirements into effective learning solutions.
- Strong organisational and governance skills, including content management, reporting and record keeping.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience within financial services or another regulated environment will be highly regarded.
