We're recruiting an experienced career Legal Assistant to directly support two highly successful Partners within a sophisticated legal practice in Sydney's CBD, whose work focuses on Private Capital and Investment Funds.
With an impressive client base spanning fund managers, global financial institutions, investment managers, superannuation funds, family offices and major corporate clients, this is an opportunity to become a trusted part of two busy practices within a leading national law firm.
The Opportunity
This is a true Partner-support role for someone who enjoys taking ownership and brings proven experience in administrative support side of a busy legal practice.
You'll work directly with two Partners who each have their own working style, so you'll quickly build strong individual relationships, understand how each operates and become the person they can rely on to keep everything moving.
Your role will be broad and diverse, including:
- Complex formatting, amendments and mark-ups of legal documentation
- Coordinating client events and in-house functions
- Assisting with presentations and business development initiatives
- Expense management and end-of-month billing
- Managing busy diaries & coordinating meetings
- Proactively managing day-to-day administrative requirements
To be considered:
You'll have at least 2 years' experience as a Legal Assistant within a busy legal practice and be confident providing high-level admin support to senior fee earners in a transactional practice group, gained within a private practice law firm.
You'll be highly organised, proactive and comfortable juggling different priorities and working styles. Strong document formatting skills and attention to detail will also be important in ensuring your success in this position.
