About the role:
Reporting to our Claims Administration Manager, you will provide exceptional customer service and claims management practices in line with ClearView’s Claims philosophy and internal policies and procedures. The role will be a combination of Death/Terminal Illness and long term IP claims.
This role would ideally suit anyone looking to further their career in Life Insurance and / or build on their existing claims management skills, or a senior Administrator from industry.
Please note, you do not need prior experience in this role, however, this is preferred. You may come from a Life Insurance, or Workers Comp administration background.
Primary (Key) Responsibilities
- Proactively managing a portfolio of severely injured and ill individuals, specifically providing high level service tailored to their specific needs
- Deliver effective case management to support strong claims strategies and customer outcomes
- Adhere to Life Insurance Code of Practice (LICOP) and internal Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
- Work within a team environment including internal and external stakeholders
Secondary Responsibilities
- Liaise, interact, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders o Identify and implement process, regulatory and claims management process changes (as required)
Key external relationships
- Advisers and their administration staff
- ClearView policyholders
- Third Party providers – CMO, Rehab Providers, Medical and Allied Health professionals Key Internal Relationships
- Life Insurance operational teams – Life Operations staff including policy administration and call centre
Internal
- Legal
- Risk and Compliance Trustees
Qualifications and Experience Required Tertiary Qualifications and or Allied Health background (desirable)

- Strong written and verbal communicator who can build rapport, display empathy, and manage ongoing expectations in a clear manner
- A passion for customer service
- Thrive on working in a team environment and collaborating with others
- Ability to challenge the status quo and a desire for continuous improvement
- Organised with excellent time management
