What you'll be doing

As a Livestock Hand, you'll support the day-to-day management and welfare of cattle across the feedlot — working closely with an experienced stock team to monitor animal health, assist with cattle movements, and keep the yards safe and clean.

- Daily monitoring of cattle across feedlot pens
- Riding pens on your own horse to identify animals requiring attention
- Assisting with drafting, processing, and cattle movements
- Supporting animal health programs under the direction of senior staff
- Maintaining clean, safe yards and facilities




- Operating plant and equipment as required (training provided)
- Following biosecurity and safety procedures
- Working collaboratively with the livestock and operations teams
