The Position
We are seeking a Logistics Administrator to join our Supply Chain team in Bathurst. In this role, you will coordinate dispatch and freight activities, maintain logistics documentation and schedules, and assist in the smooth movement of materials throughout the supply chain. Working closely with the Stores team, you will help ensure inventory accuracy, timely stock movements, and efficient warehouse operations while contributing to positive customer outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you will have experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, stores, or logistics environment and a strong administrative focus. You will be comfortable coordinating freight activities, maintaining accurate records, working within ERP systems, and supporting inventory and material flow processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily dispatch activities, transport bookings, and freight movements to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Maintain freight schedules and transport bookings, assisting with urgent deliveries and resolving freight issues as they arise.
- Coordinate domestic and international logistics, including import/export documentation, freight quotations, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor freight performance and costs, manage NCRs and reconciliations, and investigate variances.
- Provide day-to-day support to the Stores team, ensuring accurate inventory transactions, receipting, stock transfers, and material issuing.
- Support stocktakes and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Prepare reports, maintain logistics reports, track KPIs, and contribute to process improvement activities.
About YouTo be successful for this role with tour team, you will need:
- Previous experience working in a Stores, Warehouse, Logistics, or Supply Chain setting.
- Confident in using Microsoft Excel and ERP systems for reporting, scheduling, and analysis.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating domestic freight operations.
- Proven experience managing international logistics, imports, and exports.
- Strong computer literacy with experience using ERP/MRP systems
- Excellent organisational and scheduling skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of inventory control processes and stock management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
