About the role
This is a diverse role responsible for coordinating the day-to-day movement of goods, including receiving, stock management, customer dispatch, supplier follow-up and shipment coordination, while also providing administrative support to the Sales, Purchasing and Accounts teams.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and check incoming goods against purchase orders and supplier documentation
- Record goods received in Xero and maintain accurate Excel stock records
- Maintain an organised stock area and conduct regular stocktakes
- Identify stock replenishment requirements and raise purchase orders as required
- Report discrepancies, damaged or missing goods
- Prepare and coordinate customer orders for dispatch
- Verify delivery details and prepare invoices, packing slips and shipping documentation
- Pack goods, arrange courier bookings and prepare shipping labels
- Monitor deliveries and confirm receipt with Accounts
- Work with Purchasing to follow up supplier order confirmations and delivery dates
About you
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Reliable, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
- Confident communicating with customers, suppliers and internal teams
- Comfortable working with stock, orders, freight and shipping documentation
- Good with follow-up and ensuring tasks are completed
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and computer-based systems
- Previous experience with Xero, logistics, inventory, purchasing, dispatch or freight coordination will be highly regarded
