JAS Contract Logistics is seeking an experienced and hands-on Dispatch Team Leader to oversee daily dispatch operations and lead a small warehouse team.

The Dispatch Team Leader plays an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This position involves coordinating the daily activities of warehouse personnel and ensuring the accuracy of shipments and inventory.



By maintaining a clear line of communication between warehouse staff and management, the warehouse lead ensures that operations run efficiently and effectively.

Through their leadership, they support the overall objectives of the warehouse, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled on a timely basis.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise a small team to ensure secure and efficient operations.

- Coordinate the loading and unloading of vehicles.

- Ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.

- Maintain warehouse safety, housekeeping, and compliance standards.

- Assist with inventory control and operational reporting.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and team development.

Skills & Experience

- Current Forklift Licence (essential).

- Proven experience in loading and unloading vehicles within a warehouse or logistics environment.

- Strong computer literacy, including experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.

- Previous experience leading or supervising a small team.

- Excellent communication and organisational skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.
