About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Logistics/Warehousing/Inventory Officer to join our team at our Epping VIC 3076 facility on a full time basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution centre. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating logistics operations, and ensuring that all warehouse activities comply with safety and quality standards.

This position is pivotal to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key responsibilities

- Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods and inventory into the warehouse management system
- Accurately maintaining and updating inventory records and ensuring stock levels are monitored regularly
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch in a timely and accurate manner
- Conducting regular stock takes and reconciling discrepancies between physical inventory and system records
- Organising and maintaining warehouse layout to optimise storage space and accessibility
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment
- Operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks and scanning systems safely and effectively
- Coordinating with logistics partners to arrange shipments and track deliveries




- Identifying and reporting inefficiencies or issues that could impact warehouse operations
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and performance

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Competency in using Microsoft Office applications
- Physical capability to lift and move items regularly, as required by warehouse operations
- A commitment to health and safety best practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Preferred: Experience with inventory management, stock control or supply chain coordination
- Preferred: Knowledge of logistics principles and warehouse operations best practices
