An established food manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support its busy production operation. This hands-on role offers varied work across electrical fault-finding, preventative maintenance and equipment improvements.
The Role
Working alongside the maintenance and production teams, you’ll help keep processing and packaging equipment operating safely and reliably.
Your responsibilities will include
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults across manufacturing equipment.
- Completing planned preventative maintenance to improve plant reliability.
- Supporting electrical installations, equipment testing and commissioning.
- Investigating recurring faults and implementing improvements to reduce downtime.
- Working closely with production teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Ensuring maintenance activities meet site safety,
quality and food manufacturing standards.
About You
- Current NSW electrical licence.
- Maintenance experience within food, FMCG or another fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and practical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the wider team.
- A proactive approach to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
PLC and automation exposure would be advantageous, but is not essential.
