We have grown significantly in recent years with the acquisition of Tarago Cheese, celebrated for its award-winning blue cheeses, expanding our footprint across the domestic market.

About The Role

We're seeking a Maintenance Technician / Electrician to join our Dandenong South team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll keep our production plant and equipment running safely and reliably — from preventative maintenance and fault-finding through to emergency breakdown repairs and new equipment installations. This is a hands-on trade role in a fast-paced food manufacturing workplace, working closely with our production and quality teams.

What You'll Do

- Carry out preventative maintenance, inspections and calibration across all machinery, plant and structures

- Diagnose and fix faults, with breakdown repairs as your first priority

- Support new equipment installations, upgrades and continuous improvement projects

- Identify spare parts required and schedule/oversee contractor servicing

- Record all maintenance activity, including reporting and analysis of mechanical/electrical downtime





- Facilitate start-up and readiness of machinery for production, working with the production team to keep quality standards high

- Maintain job safety analysis records for staff and contractors

- Help train machine operators and production staff

About you

- Minimum of 5 years technical/electrical maintenance experience in a similar role in food or FMCG industries

- Electrician/Trade qualification (A-Grade)

- Have a multidiscipline maintenance understanding including but not limited to electrical and mechanical

- Highly effective communication and problem-solving skills to support the business continuous improvement programs

- Detail oriented, with excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills

- Methodical and can prioritise to ensure specific goals are achieved

- Work autonomously and be a self-starter to be a part of an engaged team

- Experience using MEX or similar CMMS systems

- Strong understanding of HACCP requirements

- Experience in the dairy industry advantageous
