The Office of the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice-President provides best-practice financial advice and services across the University. Within this portfolio, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) brings together strategic planning, reporting, forecasting and decision support to enable strong financial stewardship and informed decision-making.

The Opportunity:

We are excited to partner with our client to recruit a Management Accountant to join the Finance Business Partnering / Financial Services team within Financial Resources Management. This is a hands-on role supporting forecasting, budgeting, reporting timetables, and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple cost centres.

You'll join a small, collaborative team and work closely with stakeholders to provide clear, practical financial insights that support planning and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver management accounting support including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, modelling and scenario analysis
- Provide business case analysis, cost-benefit assessments and financial projections
- Support decision-making through meaningful insights, trend analysis and performance monitoring
- Assist with financial systems support (including budgeting/forecasting tools) and contribute to process improvement
- Build trusted relationships with a broad network of university stakeholders and support compliance requirements




- Contribute to survey / reporting requirements and assist with group consolidation activities as needed

About You:

You are a proactive, solutions-focused finance professional who can translate complex information into clear recommendations.

You will bring:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in finance/business (or equivalent experience)
- CA or CPA membership (current)
- Strong experience across management accounting (ideally within a University or large/complex workplace)
- Ideally your experience as a Management Accountant spans at least 8 years
- Proven capability in budgeting, forecasting and income/expenditure management
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Confidence working with tools such as SAP, advanced Excel, and ideally Power BI
