The role

You will manage your own client portfolio and take responsibility for the relationships, the work and the outcomes. It is a hands-on role where you will combine strong tax knowledge with practical business advice, while guiding team members to deliver a service clients can rely on.

That includes

- Managing client relationships end-to-end, leading meetings and being the first person clients call when they need advice
- Taking ownership of and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
- Providing strong advice on tax matters including FBT, Division 7A, GST and CGT concessions, with Partner support on complex issues
- Advising on budgets, business planning, and helping clients understand their numbers to make informed decisions
- Supporting small business owners in achieving their goals through listening, guiding, and celebrating wins
- Contributing to the growth of the office and helping shape a positive team culture

About you

You are a manager-level business services accountant who enjoys taking responsibility and building relationships. You are comfortable making decisions, know when to seek a second view and care about helping your clients and our team succeed. You are likely a great fit if you:
- Have strong Australian public practice experience at Manager level, including responsibility for your own client portfolio
- Hold a relevant accounting or commerce degree and are CA or CPA qualified
- Bring strong technical knowledge across business services and Australian tax, with experience reviewing work and providing practical advice
- Can lead client meetings, explain complex matters clearly and build trust with business owners
- Take initiative, follow through and manage competing priorities with confidence
- Want to contribute to a growing firm and build a long-term future with Latitude Accountants
