Luma is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Western Australian women since 1977, delivering integrated medical, allied health, mental health, FDV advocacy, health promotion and education across the Perth metropolitan area.
Luma is seeking an experienced and passionate Manager, Marketing & Community Health Initiatives to lead our Health Promotion and Marketing Teams. This exciting leadership prospect combines strategic marketing, community engagement, health promotion, and partnership development to improve awareness of services and support women to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing. This is a part-time role (0.6 FTE).
Reporting to the General Manager Health Services & Business development, you will drive the development and delivery of integrated marketing, communications, health promotion, and community engagement strategies that strengthen Luma's profile and increase access to services across the State.
What you will do
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach and support the Health Promotion and Marketing Team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Strategy & Campaign Delivery: Partner with the General Manager and Leads to plan, deliver and evaluate health promotion programs, community initiatives and marketing campaigns that align with organisational objectives and maximise community impact.
- Media & Stakeholder Relations: Manage media, public relations and stakeholder communications, including supporting executive messaging, media engagement, reputation management and responses to emerging issues.
- Partnerships & Community Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, community organisations, health providers and key stakeholders to enhance collaboration, increase reach and strengthen Luma's position as a recognised voice in women's health.

Insights & Continuous Improvement: Use data, market insights and community feedback to evaluate campaign effectiveness, measure impact and inform continuous improvement, strategic planning and decision-making.
- Governance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all marketing, communications and health promotion activities comply with organisational policies, funding requirements, relevant legislation and best-practice standards.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Public Health, Health Promotion, Business, Community Development or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach and develop teams to achieve organisational objectives.
- Proven experience developing and delivering strategic marketing, communications and community engagement initiatives that drive awareness, engagement and measurable outcomes.
- Experience managing and applying brand guidelines, ensuring consistent and high-quality communications across multiple channels and stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with community organisations, healthcare providers, government agencies, funding bodies and consumers.
- Highly developed organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and digital platforms, with an understanding of digital marketing, social media, customer engagement channels and analytics tools.
- A current National Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain one). Experience in primary health care, women's health, not-for-profit or community services sectors will be highly regarded.
