Campbell’s Fitting & Engineering is expanding and we are seeking one skilled tradesman and one apprentice/labourer to join our team working across the Gold Coast marine precinct including Hope Island, Boat Works and GCCM. We specialise in marine engineering, precision fitting and practical problem-solving. If you want varied work and hands-on engineering challenges, this is the place.
Tradesman Role
You will work directly with the clients on onboard various boats, carrying out equiptment installations, engine alignments and servicing, fabrication and mechanical work, and troubleshooting on-site. This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, variety and technical work rather than repetitive factory tasks.
Apprentice/Labourer Role
You will assist with mechanical work, basic fitting tasks, workshop duties and general labouring across marine and industrial sites. This role suits someone who is reliable,
willing to learn and comfortable working in active shipyards and. No marine experience required, but a good attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Requirements
Tradesman: Trade-qualified Fitter, Boilermaker, Marine Technician or similar. Strong mechanical aptitude. Drivers license required Rigging tickets are an advantage.
Apprentice/Labourer: Drivers license required. Mechanical interest or previous labouring experience is helpful but not essential. Must be reliable and willing to learn.
